'Carry Tiranga, apply sunscreen, stay hydrated': Cockroach Janta Party shares protest itinerary; makes appeal to PM Modi

NEW DELHI: The Cockroach Janta Party issued a do’s and dont’s list for the upcoming protest on June 6 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The organisation that started as a “tiny joke”, only to gain over 22 million followers on Insta, higher than any other political party in the country, has called upon the people to voice their dissent over the alleged irregularities in NEET, CBSE, CUET and SSCDG.In a video posted on X, the spokespersons of CJP appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi sack the Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, calling him a “incompetent” leader, citing repeated paper leaks.“June 6, 9am — See you tomorrow, fellow cockroaches. We will not stop until we secure Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation! Time to turn this tiny joke into a revolution Get ready to swarm the streets of Delhi with peaceful and loving dissent. But remember what to do and what NOT to do. All eyes are on us!” CJP said in a post on X.

The do’s list includes:

  • Carry the Tiranga and a book
  • Record everything
  • Report miscreants
  • Apply sunscreen, get a cap, stay hydrated

The not-to-list:

  • Don’t come alone if you can help it
  • Don’t throw the flowers, offer them
  • Don’t engage trolls, provocateurs
  • Don’t show up hungry

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke is on his way to India and is set to reach by Saturday early morning.“The overwhelming response from those who want the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan to our call to join us at Delhi Airport was beyond our imagination. It is not feasible for so many people to assemble at the airport as it would cause inconvenience to the public and the security forces. So please do not come to Delhi airport,” he earlier said in a video message.
