NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi Sunday delayed his travel to his residence after arriving at IGI airport from Kolkata to ensure that no candidate appearing in the NEET re-examination faced any inconvenience due to traffic restrictions.People aware about this said that after arriving at IGI airport around 1.15pm, Modi chose to wait at the airport instead of immediately leaving for his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg.PM Modi left for his residence only after the exam commenced at 2pm.BJP slams Cong for B’luru traffic jam: BJP on Sunday slammed Congress for a political event in Bengaluru’s Malleshwaram, which caused a traffic jam, resulting in some students reaching a NEET-UG exam centre late.Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya on X, said, “Congress could have chosen any other day for its rally at Palace Grounds. Instead, it chose the very day thousands of students are appearing for NEET.”Targetting Rahul Gandhi, the BJP MP said for weeks he has been “shedding crocodile tears over students and exams”.
