NEW DELHI: India’s young cricket sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had a proud family moment to celebrate after his younger brother, Ashirvad Sooryavanshi, produced another eye-catching batting performance that quickly caught attention on social media.Vaibhav, who is currently travelling with the Indian squad for the upcoming series against Ireland, shared an Instagram story applauding Ashirvad’s latest century. The post soon went viral among cricket fans, with many praising the cricketing talent emerging from the Sooryavanshi family.

The screenshot shared by Vaibhav showed an impressive scorecard. Ashirvad hammered 168 runs from just 119 deliveries, peppering the boundary ropes with 19 fours and six sixes during a dominant knock. The innings further strengthened his reputation as one of the most promising young talents in Bihar’s cricket circuit.The latest century comes only weeks after the 10-year-old made headlines for registering a hundred of his career in a local practice match in Samastipur. Representing Cricket Academy Tajpur, Ashirvad scored 103 runs off 87 balls in an innings filled with attacking strokeplay. He struck 20 boundaries and one six while maintaining a strike rate of over 118 before eventually being dismissed by Prashant Raj.Ashirvad’s exploits have delighted his family. His father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi, expressed his happiness after the youngster’s maiden century and thanked supporters for their encouragement. He also revealed his ambition to help Ashirvad develop into a top-quality cricketer, much like his elder brother Vaibhav.Vaibhav is the middle sibling among three brothers, with Ujjwal Sooryavanshi being the eldest and Ashirvad the youngest.
