India captain Shreyas Iyer opted to field after winning the toss in the second T20I against Ireland on Sunday, making two changes to the playing XI as the visitors looked to level the two-match series.India handed T20I debuts to batting all-rounder Suryansh Shedge and fast bowler Prince Yadav, while teenage batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was once again left waiting for his maiden international appearance.Confirming the changes at the toss, Iyer expressed confidence in both newcomers and praised their abilities.“We have two changes. Suryansh (Shedge) and Prince come in and make their debut. Shedge is a sensational cricketer, both in domestic cricket and the IPL,” Iyer said, adding that Prince was a “smart” cricketer who would “adapt to things”.India entered the contest under pressure after suffering a surprise 34-run defeat in the series opener on Friday. The loss handed Ireland their first-ever victory over the reigning T20 world champions in any format and gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.With their inclusion, Suryansh Shedge and Prince Yadav became India’s 120th and 121st players to represent the country in T20 Internationals.
