A shocking incident in the stands stole the spotlight during the IPL 2026 clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals, as a physical fight broke out among spectators, with footage of the brawl quickly going viral.The visuals clearly showed fans getting into a heated altercation that escalated into a full-blown physical confrontation inside the stadium. The exact reason behind the fight remains unclear, but the situation intensified rapidly before security personnel and police stepped in to separate those involved and restore order.The ugly scenes in the crowd came during what was otherwise a one-sided contest on the field. LSG struggled badly with the bat and were bowled out for just 141 in 18.4 overs. Captain Rishabh Pant managed only 7, while Aiden Markram scored 11 and Nicholas Pooran added just 8, as the batting unit failed to deliver.

Delhi Capitals’ bowlers, led by T Natarajan, Kuldeep Yadav, and Lungi Ngidi, kept things tight and never allowed LSG to build momentum.In reply, DC were rocked early as Mohammed Shami dismissed KL Rahul for a golden duck, reducing them to 26 for 4. But Sameer Rizvi changed the course of the match with a composed unbeaten 70, stitching together a match-winning 119-run partnership with Tristan Stubbs, who remained not out on 39. The duo guided Delhi to a comfortable six-wicket win with 2.5 overs remaining.
