KL Rahul delivered a masterclass with the bat against Punjab Kings, bringing up a superb century to register his sixth hundred in the IPL. The Delhi Capitals opener reached the milestone in just 47 balls, hammering 12 fours and five sixes in a commanding display. The innings, however, could have ended much earlier. Rahul was handed two lifelines, first dropped on 12 by Shashank Singh and then again on 51 when Vijaykumar Vyshak missed a return catch off his own bowling. Punjab paid a heavy price for those missed chances as Rahul made them count in emphatic fashion.
