NEW DELHI: Punjab Kings delivered one of the most unforgettable moments of IPL 2026 with a record-breaking chase against Delhi Capitals on Saturday, but it wasn’t just the cricket that had fans talking. After the thrilling win, a fun interaction between co-owner Preity Zinta and young batter Priyansh Arya stole the spotlight. As she came onto the field to celebrate, Zinta gave Arya a playful punch on the stomach, leaving him surprised and amused. His reaction quickly went viral on social media. From the commentary box, Ravi Shastri added to the moment, saying, “Oh, that was a good punch.”Watch:The match itself was nothing short of extraordinary. Delhi Capitals looked firmly in control after posting a massive 264/2. KL Rahul led the charge with a stunning unbeaten 152 off 67 balls, smashing boundaries at will. He was well supported by Nitish Rana, who scored a fluent 91. The pair stitched together a huge 220-run partnership, putting Delhi in a dominant position at the halfway stage.However, Punjab Kings came out with fearless intent. Openers Prabhsimran Singh and Arya attacked from the very beginning, adding 126 runs in just 6.5 overs and completely shifting the momentum.With the platform set, captain Shreyas Iyer took charge and played a composed unbeaten knock of 71. He ensured there were no late hiccups, guiding Punjab to the target with seven balls to spare and sealing the highest successful chase in IPL history.While the win kept Punjab unbeaten in the tournament, it was the joyful celebrations that truly captured the spirit of the night.
