Kolkata Knight Riders produced a commanding all-round display to beat Delhi Capitals and keep their IPL 2026 playoff hopes alive. Chasing 143, KKR recovered from early setbacks through an important partnership between Finn Allen and Cameron Green, with Allen smashing his maiden IPL hundred to power KKR to a comfortable win. After the result, the IPL 2026 points table remains tightly packed with several teams still in contention for the playoffs.

Their recent run of form has kept them in contention. Delhi Capitals slipped to eighth with eight points from 11 matches. They have managed four wins and suffered seven defeats, while their NRR has dropped to -1.154. Mumbai Indians are ninth with six points from 10 matches. They have won three and lost seven, with an NRR of -0.649. Lucknow Super Giants remain at the bottom of the table with six points from 10 games, having won three and lost seven. Their NRR stands at -0.934.
