Despite the disappointment, the veteran batter said he remains committed to contributing positively within the squad.“I’ve been around for a long time. This is not my first IPL, so I understand the make-up of teams. My focus is to keep giving positive feedback to the squad, remain supportive, and contribute whatever I can towards the team,” he added.Miller also stressed that he is staying prepared in case another opportunity comes later in the season.“I just want to remain ready and prepare really well. That’s what players like to do, whether the chance comes again or not,” he said.The 2026 season has been a difficult one for Miller so far. While he has remained unbeaten four times, his best contribution remains the 41* off 20 balls against Gujarat Titans earlier in the season, an innings remembered as much for the controversial missed single as the late flourish itself.
