Lucknow Super Giants batter Josh Inglis returned to the playing XI for the important IPL 2026 match against Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, and made an immediate impact with the bat.The Australian wicketkeeper-batter had joined the IPL season midway. Inglis played against Mumbai Indians earlier in the season but failed to make an impact and later suffered an injury during that match, forcing him to miss the next game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.After recovering from the injury, Inglis returned against CSK and played one of the finest knocks for LSG this season. He attacked from the beginning, making full use of the field restrictions and reached his half-century in just 17 balls. Inglis smashed 85 off 33 balls as LSG raced to 91 runs in the powerplay.
