Shimron Hetmyer underlined his reputation as one of the most explosive batters in world cricket by setting a new benchmark for six-hitting in a single T20 World Cup edition. Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz also struck 16 in 2024 to share fourth place.In Sunday’s contest, West Indies posted 195 for four after a 76-run unbroken fifth-wicket partnership between Jason Holder and Rovman Powell. However, Sanju Samson’s unbeaten 97 guided India to 199 for five in 19.2 overs, sealing a five-wicket win and a semifinal berth.
