Pakistan 35/0 in 9.0 Overs | Pakistan vs Bangladesh Live Score, 1st ODI: Bangladesh opt to field against Pakistan

Pakistan vs Bangladesh Live Score, 1st ODI: The Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field first against the Pakistan in the first ODI in Dhaka. Captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz preferred to chase, expecting early assistance for the bowlers and hoping to put pressure on the visitors.

Pakistan arrive in confident form after completing a dominant 3-0 ODI series win against the Sri Lanka. The team is currently in a rebuilding phase under new captain Shaheen Afridi, with several young players included in the squad. Former skipper Babar Azam is not part of the team for this tour, marking a notable change in Pakistan’s lineup.

Bangladesh are also experimenting with their approach, bringing back experienced players such as Afif Hossain to add depth to the squad. While Pakistan have historically dominated the head-to-head record, winning 34 of the 39 ODIs between the two sides, Bangladesh remain a formidable side at home. The hosts recently defeated the West Indies 2-1 in a series in late 2025 and will be eager to start 2026 on a winning note in Dhaka.
