Two more Haryana govt officials held in bank fraud case

PANCHKULA: The anti-corruption bureau team investigating the Rs 597 crore IDFC First Bank fraud case has arrested two more govt officers – Randhir Singh, controller finance and accounts, Haryana School Education Project Council, and Rajesh Sangwan, controller finance and accounts, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. The bureau alleges that Singh and Sangwan violated finance department instructions and hatched a criminal conspiracy with the co-accused to siphon govt funds and accepted substantial amounts as illegal gratification for their role in the scam.
