He said the changing nature of threats required not only a strong military but also alert and prepared citizens. Singh said every citizen had to remain vigilant and ready at all times. He stressed the need for a robust military backed by people capable of standing shoulder to shoulder to defend the country under any circumstances.Singh said govt was leaving no stone unturned to equip the armed forces with advanced weapons and technologies and added that citizens, especially the youth, needed to build mental toughness and intellectual clarity through discipline and determination.
