5.9 magnitude earthquake hits Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region, tremors felt in north India

NEW DELHI: An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck Delhi-NCR on Friday, with tremors felt across northern India.According to the USGS, the epicentre of the earthquake was near Jurm in Afghanistan.Residents in Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, and the surrounding National Capital Region rushed out of their homes as the tremors struck.So far, no casualties or damage to property have been reported.(This is a developing story)
