In Guwahati, however, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi chose a different route.In the match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI), the young batting prodigy took on Bumrah in the second over of the innings, hitting two sixes in the space of four deliveries. The game had already been shortened to 11 overs per side due to rain, adding more weight to every over.The contest between Bumrah and Sooryavanshi had been seen as a key moment before the match. When Bumrah came on to bowl, Sooryavanshi did not hold back. He sent the first ball he faced over long-on, and followed it up with another six, putting pressure on Mumbai Indians early in the innings.Sooryavanshi’s approach set the tone for the innings.
