The left-hander’s innings was not just impactful but historic. He now joins an elite group of Royals batters with 100-plus sixes in the IPL, alongside Sanju Samson (192), Jos Buttler (135), and Shane Watson (109). Jaiswal’s tally of 100 sixes underlines his rapid rise as one of the franchise’s most destructive batters. Most 50-plus scores for RR in the IPL25 – Jos Buttler (82 inns)25 – Sanju Samson (144 inns)19 – Yashasvi Jaiswal (69 inns)19 – Ajinkya Rahane (93 inns)His consistency has been equally striking. With 19 scores of fifty or more in just 69 innings, he is already level with Ajinkya Rahane in the Royals’ all-time list, trailing only Samson and Buttler at the top.Against Mumbai Indians in particular, Jaiswal has developed a remarkable record. The first was the innings in which he raced to 50 off just 13 balls – the fastest in IPL history.Tuesday’s innings also added another unique feat to his name. Jaiswal has now featured in three of Rajasthan Royals’ highest-scoring first overs in IPL history, contributing all the runs off his own bat in each instance. One of those came during his record-breaking 13-ball fifty, the fastest in IPL history.RR’s charge began with a brutal assault in the opening over, where Jaiswal tore into the bowling to collect 22 runs. The momentum only grew as Sooryavanshi took on the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and others, smashing 39 off 14 balls before departing. In reply, Mumbai Indians crumbled under scoreboard pressure. Early blows from the RR bowlers saw key names like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya fall cheaply, reducing them to 46/5 inside five overs. Despite brief resistance from the lower middle order, MI never recovered and finished on 123/9, slipping to their second consecutive defeat. With both bat and ball firing, Rajasthan Royals look like a side building serious momentum, and at the heart of it all stands Jaiswal, rewriting record books with every outing. Also See: DC vs GT Live Score
