'Get in line': Bishnoi gang shoots at restaurant next to Kap's cafe in Canada; issues warning to Kapil Sharma

NEW DELHI: The Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate claimed responsibility for a firing incident at a cafe in Canada early on Saturday. The gang warned the cafe owner and comedian Kapil Sharma, who owns the adjacent outlet, Kap’s Cafe, to fall in line.In a social media post attributed to a Facebook account named “Tyson Bishnoi Zora Sidhu”, the gang also issued a direct threat to Indian comedian Kapil Sharma. The post claims responsibility for the gunfire that occurred at the Chai Sutta Bar cafe, located at 8263 120 Street in Surrey, British Columbia, which is situated next to Kaps Cafe.Addressing Sharma directly, the post warned the comedian to “get in line” and stop wasting the group’s time, threatening that he would face the same fate as the targeted cafe if he failed to comply. In 2025, the gang had opened fire at Sharma’s cafe on two occasions. The message specifically mentions that if Sharma continues to resist their demands, his business, Kaps Cafe, and his residence in Mumbai will be their next targets. The group further stated that they would not be swayed by any recommendations or mediation efforts this time. The post concludes with several hashtags associated with known gang figures and groups, including references to the Gogi Maan group and several individuals preceded by “RIP.”While the authenticity of the post and the connection to specific organised crime syndicates have not been officially confirmed by law enforcement, the overt threats against a high-profile public figure and a specific international business location have raised significant security concerns.
