CBI busts graft ring in Punjab Vigilance Bureau

NEW DELHI: CBI has busted an alleged corruption ring involving Punjab Vigilance Bureau, leading to the arrest of three individuals. According to the agency, the group solicited payments in exchange for “settling” formal complaints pending with the office of Director General of Vigilance.Vikas Goyal, his son, Raghav Goyal, and their associate, Ankit Wadhwaare accused of being part of a corruption network linking citizens with senior govt officials. OP Rana, who served as reader to DG (Vigilance), remains at large.
