NEW DELHI: India and the Netherlands elevated their ties to a strategic partnership as Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday concluded his two day visit to The Hague.During the visit PM Modi and his Dutch counterpart Rob Jetten inked 17 agreements to boost cooperation in sectors such as defence and critical minerals.Following the PM Modi-Jetten talks, India and the Netherlands unveiled a “strategic partnership roadmap” to boost ties in trade and investment, defence and security, critical and emerging technologies including semiconductors, space, AI and quantum computing.The ministry of external affairs also listed out the 17 out comes from PM Modi’s visit.Here are the key outcomes of the visit:India-Netherlands Strategic Partnership Roadmap 2026-2030

Tata Electronics-ASML cooperation

  • Key step for the semiconductor fab project in Dholera, Gujarat
  • Supports India’s semiconductor manufacturing ambitions

Cooperation in critical minerals

  • Aims to strengthen supply chains and attract investment
  • Expected to improve India’s mining and processing capabilities

Technical cooperation for Kalpasar Project

  • Dutch expertise to support Gujarat’s mega water infrastructure project
  • Freshwater reservoir expected to aid drinking water, irrigation and industry

Green hydrogen roadmap
