Virat Kohli added another IPL record to his name on Sunday after completing 500 runs in IPL 2026 during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’ match against Punjab Kings at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.With the milestone, Kohli registered his ninth season with 500 or more runs in the IPL, the most by any batter in the tournament’s history. Kohli now has 542 runs to his name in IPL 2026 so far.David Warner and KL Rahul are next on the list with seven such seasons each, while Shikhar Dhawan has five.Most 500-plus seasons in IPL:
