Rahul: Youth paying for broken system

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi called the death of Akanksha Chaturvedi “not suicide, but a consequence of a corrupt, broken system under PM Modi”. He said the PM had ruined the education system so much over 12 years that “an entire young generation of India is paying the price for it”. Rahul said Akanksha had wanted to be a doctor and her father, a farmer, borrowed Rs 3 lakh on a Kisan Credit Card and took up a job as a cook in Nagpur to pay for her coaching. “A young girl with dreams ended her life… And education minister Dharmendra Pradhan? He’s still in his chair today,” Rahul said.
