Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza went past Pakistan’s Babar Azam and former India captain Rohit Sharma for the second-most ducks by a captain in T20 internationals during the third and final T20I against India in Harare on Sunday.Raza was dismissed for a golden duck by India pacer Yash Thakur, taking his tally of ducks as T20I captain to seven. Only former Australia captain Aaron Finch has more ducks as captain in the format, with eight. The dismissal came in the fourth over of Zimbabwe’s chase of 193. Yash bowled a short-of-length delivery that hurried Raza, who attempted to play towards the leg side.

The ball took the leading edge and looped back towards the bowler. Yash reacted quickly, moved to his left in his follow-through and completed a one-handed catch to dismiss the Zimbabwe captain. Earlier, India posted 192/5 after being asked to bat first. Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi led the innings with 81 off 48 balls. He paced his innings according to the conditions on a pitch that offered some help to the bowlers and brought up his second T20I fifty in 31 balls.The youngster produced some of his trademark shots, including a straight drive for four off Brad Evans’ yorker and a 102-metre six off Raza. He also played a reverse sweep for four against Wesley Madhevere before eventually finishing with 81.
