96-year-old CD Gopinath, India’s oldest-living cricketer, passes away



Former India cricketer CD Gopinath, aged 96, passed away on Thursday, ending his status as India’s oldest living Test player and the last survivor of the 1952 historic win over England. Following his death, Chandu Patankar (95) becomes the oldest living Indian Test cricketer, attributing his longevity to “God’s grace.”
