IPL 2026 schedule this week (April 20–26): The fight for playoff spots is intensifying in the ongoing IPL 2026, with 29 matches already done in the season. Punjab Kings are leading the standings as the only team without a defeat at this stage — five wins and a no result after six games.As the other teams mount their charge towards the top of the standings, we have another set of nine crucial matches this week, which will again shake up the points table.

The week starts with a crucial clash between two contrasting teams, with in-form Gujarat Titans, riding on a hat-trick of wins, hosting bottom-dwellers Mumbai Indians, who have suffered four straight defeats after starting the campaign with a win.After that, Sunrisers Hyderabad, currently fourth, face fifth-placed Delhi Capitals at home on Tuesday, followed by a clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals at the Ekana Stadium on Wednesday.Looking to revive their campaign, MI will host Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede on Thursday, before defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru meet Gujarat Titans at home on Friday.These will be followed by another power-packed double-header weekend. Saturday will see DC vs PBKS and RR vs SRH, followed by CSK vs GT and LSG vs KKR on Sunday.
